My mother was very supportive throughout my journey. How was it to work as a child artiste? How did you balance acting and studying? The art of storytelling has got better with the rapid development of technology. Even today, that concept has not changed. I feel the Kannada industry has always tried to produce films that touch people’s hearts. The industry is now receiving the due credit and attention that it has always deserved.Īre you happy with the way the subjects are panning out in the Kannada film industry? I believe that Yash and the entire team of KGF has taken the Kannada industry to a whole new level. Who do you idolise in the Kannada film industry? I also look at how substantial my role is in the plot. Though the actress was not remembered for her silver screen shoots, she is easily noted for her lead role in an 18 minutes short film ‘Lakshmi. The film is carrying terrific expectations and the theatrical rights are sold for record prices. KGF: Chapter 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel and Yash, Srinidhi Shetty are the lead actors. Now, Aamir Khan joined the race and this would be the biggest ever clash in Indian cinema. Kannada film KGF: Chapter 2 is heading for a record pan-Indian release on the same day and the makers made an announcement months ago. Due to the delay in the VFX work, the makers now announced that the film will release on April 14th, 2022 release. Aamir Khan is done with the shoot of Laal Singh Chaddha and the film which was scheduled for Christmas release is pushed for February 11th 2022 release. Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi brought the needed boost for Hindi cinema. It is an adaption of the Kannada film, Bombaygala Love and was made by theatre artistes from Maharashtra. Bollywood is now reopened and the biggies are announced for release in the coming weeks. Archana has also acted in a Marathi film, Rajkumar. With the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic, the release dates of several films got shuffled.
